Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) adalah salah satu tes yang dijadikan standardisasi pendaftaran beasiswa dan studi S1 di luar negeri. Melansir akun Instagram @schoters, tes ini dibuat oleh College Board di Amerika Serikat.
Tes ini biasanya ditemukan saat pelajar ingin mendaftar kuliah di berbagai kampus di dunia, khususnya Amerika Serikat. SAT di Indonesia sudah tersedia lebih dari 20 lokasi yang diselenggerakan secara daring atau luring berbasis computer based test (CBT).

Manfaat SAT
- Meningkatkan profil guna mendaftar beasiswa dan kampus, meskipun melampirkan SAT bersifat opsional
- Opsi pendaftaran kampus dan beasiswa akan terbuka lebar ke berbagai negara
- Tak perlu mengikuti foundation (penyetaraan kurikulum) di beberapa negara yang tidak mengakui ijazah Indonesia
- Memenuhi persyaratan kampus tujuan, khususnya yang termasuk dalam ranking top dunia atau negara tujuan
Komponen soal SAT
SAT mempunyai tiga komponen soal, yakni reading, math, dan writing & languange. Peserta mesti mengerjakan soal dengan durasi 3 jam 45 menit.Rentang skor yang didapat ialah 400-1.600. Kamu yang bisa mengejar skor 1.350 sudah berada di top 10% peserta ujian SAT. Nah, bila kamu mendapat skor 1.530, artinya kamu berada di top 1%.

1. Reading
