Sementara, "Gone Girl" mengekor dengan perolehan tiga piala yakni Film Award, Screenwriter Award yang dimenangkan Gillian Flyn, dan Sound Award disabet Ren Klyce.
Dikutip Aceshowbiz, Sabtu (15/11/2014), bintang utama "Gone Girl" Ben Affleck diberi kesempatan memberikan pidato singkat di hadapan audiens.
"Jika Anda memiliki satu kesempatan bagi Amerika untuk melihat sampah Anda, Anda perlu menjadi dingin," ujar Ben menyindir, mengacu pada adegan di film yang mengharuskannya bugil.
Film lainnya yang mendapat penghargaan adalah film satir superhero "Birdman" untuk kategori Career Achievement Award (Michael Keaton) dan Cinematography Award (Emmanuel Lubezki), serta film dari komik "Guardians of the Galaxy" mendapat Blockbuster Award dan Make-Up and Hairstyling Award.
