Singapore to Deliver Medical Aid to Indonesia

Jakarta: Singapore plans to deliver medical aid to Indonesia on Friday, the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated.
 
"Singapore (sends) medical equipment that are deemed urgent," said the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Teuku Faizasyah told Medcom.id on Friday.
 
However, Faizasyah didn't specify the equipment that will be given by the neighbouring country. 

After Eid holiday, Indonesia recorded a significant increase in covid-19 cases in several regions, especially the island of Java.
 
According to Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan who helms the implementation of Emergency Community Activity Restrictions (Emergency PPKM), the government plans to decrease people's mobility by up to
50 percent.
 
"From oxygen, medication, and hospitals, we have calculated all," Luhut said here on Thursday.
 
On Thursday, the country recorded as many as 38,391 new covid-19 cases. (Translator: Natasha Celia)
