Indonesia-Serbia Interfaith Dialogue Held in Yogyakarta

Jakarta: The Foreign Affairs Ministry is set to hold the 4th Indonesia-Serbia Bilateral Interfaith Dialogue (ISBID) in Yogyakarta from October 23-25, 2019. 
 
"The 4th ISBID Forum is a platform for sharing experiences, finding solutions for to the current challenges, and exploring the potential of cooperation” the Ministry's Information and Public Diplomacy Director General Cecep Heryawan said in a written statement released on Wednesday, October 23, 2019.
 
The 4th ISBID is the result of cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the Ministry of Religion Religious Affairs. It is the follow-up of the 3rd ISBID which was held in Belgrade, Serbia in November 2015. 

The main theme of the 4th ISBID is “Sustaining Peace and Harmony: Engaging Women, Youth, and Media.” The 4th ISBID consists of two main panels themed “Empowering Women and Youths towards the Inclusive Society” and ”Advancing the Role of Media and Journalists in Sustaining Peace and Harmony”.
 
Among The Indonesian speakers at the dialogue forum are Dwi Rubiyanti Kholifah (Asian Muslim Action Network Indonesia Secretary General), Fahd Pahdepie (Advisor for Presidential 's Official Staff OfficeAdvisor and Digitroops Indonesia Executive Director of Digitroops Indonesia), Dr. Inayah Rohmaniyah (Vice Dean of Cooperation and Student Affairs at State Islamic University of Sunan Kalijaga), and Dr. Ustadi Hamzah (Lector of State Islamic University of Sunan Kalijaga).
 
Meanwhile, the Serbian Delegation is led by Marko Cikiriz (Serbian Ministry of Justice State Seretary) . It comprises a number of speakers, including Prof. Dr Abdullah Numan (Deputy for Rais Ulama and Mufti of Serbian Islamic Community), Monsignor mgr. Aleksandar Kovacevic (Vicar General of the Diocese of Belgrade – the Roman Catholic Church in Serbia), Isihije Rogic (Archdiocese of the Mohac Orthodox Church in Serbia), and Bela Halas (Bishop of the Reformed Christian Church in Serbia)
