Jakarta: Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi held bilateral meeting with her Qatari counterpart Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani during her visit to Doha on Thursday.
During the meeting, the two foreign ministers discussed issues related to the future of Afghanistan.
Indonesia's top diplomat reiterated the importance of establishing an inclusive government, respect for women’s rights, and ensuring Afghanistan does not become a breeding ground for terrorist organizations and activities.
"Fruitful discussions with my good colleague, Qatari Deputy PM and FM Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani," stated the Indonesian Foreign Minister's official twitter page.
On the sideline of my visit to Qatar, she also met with Representatives of the Taliban Political Office in Doha.
In addition, she also held a meeting with US Special Representative for Afghanistan, Zalmay Khalilzad.
