Jakarta: President Joko Widodo received a delegation of the Chinese Government and the Chinese Communist Party at Bogor Palace in Bogor city on Friday, September 20 2019.
"It is nice to be able to meet again after our last meeting in 2016," Jokowi told the Chinese delgation during the meeting.
The head of the International Liaison Department of the Chinese Communist Song Tao led the Chinese delegation. He praised the ongoing development in Indonesia.
Song Tao was accompanied by IDCPC Bureau I Director General Sun Haiya, Chinese Ambassador to Indonesia Xiao Qian, IDIPC Bureau I Director Xumin and IDCPC General Office First Secretary Du Shengping. Meanwhile, the President was accompanied by Vice Foreign Minister AM Fachir and State Secretary Minisyer Pratikno.
Song Tao said the Indonesian economy under Jokowi's leadership is developing well. The socio-political conditions in the country are also very stable.
He also apprecied the Indonesian government's commitment in improving infrastructure. He praised the construction of the Trans Java Toll Road.
"As a good friend to Indonesia, I feel very happy for Indonesia," he said.
