Jakarta: Indonesia stands ready to further enhance its cooperation with the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi has said.
"I welcome the continued progress of our bilateral cooperation as we celebrate the 45th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Indonesia and the UAE," said the Indonesian foreign minister in a statement on Monday.
"As we move forward, Indonesia stands ready to further enhance our cooperation with the UAE," she stated.
According to the Indonesian top diplomat, the two countries share similar values, including tolerance, moderation, sustainable energy and development.
Moreover, the governments of Indonesia and the UAE are also committed to work together for the betterment of the two nations.
Besides strengthening bilateral relations, the two countries are also committed to contribute in addressing global issues as well as maintaining and promoting peace, stability and prosperity in the world.
