Jakarta: The Indonesian Foreign Ministry has strongly condemned last week's attack against a United Nations (UN) compound in Herat, Afghanistan.
According to the Ministry, attacks against UN personnel and premises are against international law.
"Perpetrators should be brought to justice," stated the Ministry on its official twitter page on Monday.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of the victims," the Ministry concluded.
According to reports, the attack resulted in the killing of an Afghan security forces guard and injuries to other officers.
Indonesia has been supporting the Government and people of Afghanistan in their efforts to achieve peace and stability.
