King Salman Acknowledges Indonesia's Religious Diversity: Wahid Foundation

medcom.id, Jakarta: As many as 28 Indonesian interfaith leaders met with Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in Jakarta on Friday, March 3, 2017.
 
They discussed about Indonesia's religious diversity. They also talked about Indonesia's religious tolerance.
 
"King Salman is a barometer of the Islamic world," Wahid Foundation excecutive director Yenny Wahid said.

"It is an acknowledgement for the Indonesia's diversity," she continued.
 
The meeting was attended by nine Muslim leaders, four protestant leaders, four catholic leaders, four Hindu leaders, four Buddhist leaders and three Confucian leaders.
 
The meeting was also attended by President Joko Widodo, Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Cultural Affairs Puan Maharani, Minister of Religious affairs Lukman Hakim Saifuddin and Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi.
