RI Requests Consular Access for Indonesian Suspect in Kim Jong-Nam Death

medcom.id, Jakarta: Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi, Malaysian Foreign Minister Anifah Aman and Vietnamese Foreign Minister Panh Binh Minh conducted a trilateral meeting on the sidelines of an ASEAN ministerial retreat in Boracay, Philippines on Monday.
 
The three foreign ministers discussed about a mysterious death of a North Korean man in Malaysia on February 13.
 
Malaysian Police have detained four people. They caught a Vietnamese woman on February 14. They then caught an Indonesian woman on February 15. 

"Malaysian Foreign Minister explained the investigation process," Indonesian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
 
"Indonesian Foreign Minister requested consular access for the Indonesian citizen," Indonesian Foreign Ministry mentioned.
 
It is believed that the man is Kim Jong-Nam, the brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un.
