Indonesia Committed to Israeli-Palestinian Peace Process

medcom.id, Jakarta: Minstry of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi met her French counterpart Jean-Marc Ayrault in Paris, France on Wednesday, July 6.
 
The two foreign ministers discussed about Israeli-Palestinian peace process. Retno reiterated that Indonesia fully supports the revival of Israeli-Palestinian peace talks. 
 
They agreed that economic development is one of the effective ways to realize peace in the region. Retno mentioned that Indonesia has issued series of capacity building programs for the Palestinians.

"Indonesia will continue to support the Palestinians to increase their capacity," said Retno in a press release, Wednesday (7/6/2016).
 
France hosted ministerial meeting on Middle East peace process last month. Indonesia was the only Southeast Asian country in the meeting.
