Malaysia Urged to Deport illegal Indonesian Workers Quickly

medcom.id, Jakarta: The government has urged Malaysian authorities to deport Indonesian illegal migrants workers as quickly as possible.
 
"A normal deportartion process usually takes around 3-6 months," the Foreign Ministry citizens protection director Lalu Muhammad Iqbal said in Jakarta on Friday.
 
The Foreign Ministry has requested consular access. It has instructed the  Indonesian Embassy in Malaysia.

"We always request consular access," Lalu said.
 
Moreover, Malaysian authorities have been urged to treat illegal Indonesian migrant workers well. They have been urged to process illegal Indonesian migrant workers according to the law.
