"PM John Key will visit Indonesia for the second time," said the ministry's director of East Asia and Pacific Edi Yusup at a press briefing in the ministry's office, Jakarta, on Thursday (7/14/2016).
"However, this is his first visit during President Joko Widodo's era," Edi continued.
According to him, Key and Jokowi will discuss economic cooperation between the two countries, especially trade cooperation.
"Trade between Indonesia and New Zealand currently is only around USD1 billion. We want to increase it to USD4 billion," he explained.
Both leaders will also sign three memorandum of understandings on renewable energy, tourism and IUU fishing.
"We know New Zealand is famous for its geothermal energy. We want to learn from them," he concluded.
