Indonesian Hospital Officially Opened in Gaza

medcom.id, Jakarta: Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza officially opened Indonesia Hospital in northern Gaza, Sunday (12/27/2015).
 
The hospital was warmly welcomed by Gaza people. Since Saturday, December 26 until Sunday, December 27, at least 312 patients have been treated.
 
Indonesia Hospital was built and funded by Indonesian people without any government aid.
 
The hospital was initiated on January 2009, the construction started in May 2011 and finished in mid-2014.
 
"In January 9, 2016, official handover from Indonesia to Palestnian Ambassador will be held," said Mer-C President Director Arif Rahman in his office, Tuesday (12/29//2015).
 
"The equipment in Indonesia Hospital is the best equipment available," he added.
 
Indonesia Hospital becomes the biggest hospital in northern Gaza. It is located only 3 kilometers from Israel-Palestine border.
 
For the cost, Indonesia Hospital provides insurance for Palestinian public employees. For other citizens, the cost will be paid by Palestinian government.
