medcom.id, Jakarta: Indonesian Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Wiranto received United States Ambassador Joseph Donovan in Jakarta on Monday, March 13, 2017.
"We discussed about several important issues," Wiranto said.
"We also discussed about the visit of the vice president of the United States ," he added.
Mike Pence was elected as vice president last year. He was sworn into office earlier this year.
"Hopefully we can maintain cooperation," he stated.
Indonesian President Joko Widodo visited the United States in 2015. Former United States president Barack Obama visited Indonesia in 2010.
