medcom.id, Jakarta: 138 from 177 Indonesian Hajj pilgrims have been removed from Philippine immigation office to Indonesian Embassy in Manila.
"Around 00.03 AM local time," said Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi here on Friday (6/28/2016).
Retno added the embassy is still trying to take the remaining 39 Indonesians.
The Indonesians were caught by Philippine immigration at Manila International Airport on August 19. They tried to travel to Saudi Arabia with Philippine passports.
The Indonesian government has coordinated with the Philippine authorities so the Indonesians can return home soon.
