medcom.id, Jakarta: Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi has ensured 177 Indonesian Hajj pilgrims in the Philippines will return home soon after Philippine authorities acquire all necessary information from them.

The Indonesian Hajj pilgrims were caught by immigration officials at Manila International Airport on August 19. They tried to travel to Saudi Arabia with illegal Philippine passports.

"Our embassy will meet with Philippine Department of Justice this afternoon," Retno said here on Wednesday (8/31/2016).

"Our message is clear. We urge repatriation as soon as possible," she continued.

The Indonesian Hajj pilgrims currently stay at the Indonesian guest house in Manila.
