medcom.id, Bali: Defense Minister Ryamizard Ryacudu discussed maritime cooperation with his Australian counterpart Marise Payne during a two-plus-two meeting in Bali on Thursday (10/27) evening.
Indonesia and Australia agreed to strengthen their maritime cooperation. The two countries will continue coordinated maritime patrols.
"We will prioritize peace. We will continue coordinated maritime patrols to maintain peace," said Ryamizard in Bali on Friday (10/28).
Ryamizard and Payne also discussed about the current situation in the South China Sea. The two countries agreed to maintain security in the region.
"We will maintain security in the South China Sea," he stated.
