medcom.id, Jakarta: The European Union (EU) Ambassador to the ASEAN Fransisco Fontan said the two regional blocs can cooperate in handling refugee crisis.
"Yes we can. ASEAN can help us," Fontan said after the launching of EU-ASEAN Blue Book at the ASEAN Secretariat headquarters, Jakarta on Wednesday, September 14, 2016.
"We can have discussion about the issue," he added.
Fontain mentioned ASEAN can learn from the refugee crisis in Europe. Thousands of refugees try to enter the continent every year.
"I think we need help from all partners," he stated.
