medcom.id, Jakarta: Japanese Embassy in Indonesia, along with the Agency for Cultural Affairs of Japan, Japan Foundation and Japan Image Council are to hold the Japanese Film Festival (JFF) with the theme of "Enjoy the Latest Japanese Films! Largest Film and Animation Week in Indonesia 2015".
The event, to be held on November 26 to Desember 1, 2015, is to present 30 films and animations, comprising of 11 long movies and 19 short films.
In a press conference at a movie theatre in Central Jakarta (11/19/2015), Deputy Ambassador of Japan to Indonesia, Kozo Honsei stated his joy about the event.
"I am pleased that the event is to be held, as with the event, Japan and Indonesia's good relationship may become better and more will accept and love Japanese culture in Indonesia," mentioned Hosei at Grand Indonesia, Jakarta, Thursday (11/19/2015).
In the event, there will also be Japanese directors and animators sharing their knowledge for film and animation lovers of the Cherry Blossom Country.
"We (Japanese Government) is trying hard to conduct various cultural exchange and services for Japan to be accepted and close with Indonesian people, as when they are asked who is Indonesia's friend? They can answer, Japan!" mentioned Hosei to the press. (Nabila Gita)
