medcom.id, Jakarta: Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi is scheduled to visit Ramallah, Palestine on March 13. She is going to meet with Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad Al-Maliki.
"She will discuss the outcomes of the OIC Summit," said Foreign Ministry spokesperson Arrmanatha Nassir in a press briefing, Jakarta, Thursday (3/10/2016).
Besides that, Retno will also launch Indonesia's honorary consulate in Ramallah. Previously, President Joko Widodo has announced his government has selected Palestinian businesswoman Maha Abou Shushes as the country's honorary consul to Palestine.
"She is influential Arab businesswomen. She is also the chair of Palestinian Business Women Forum," mentioned Tata.
"The establishment of honorary consulates is the implementation of Indonesia's support to Palestine," he added
Ramallah is de facto capital of Palestine which also the country's business and tourism center. Around 50 thousand Indonesians visit the region every year. (Nabila Gita)
