The two vessels arrived in Jakarta International Container Terminal (JICT) in Tanjung Priok Port at 08.10 AM. They were welomed by Indonesian Navy officials, Japanese embassy staff and Japanese citizens in Jakarta.
"Hopefully, relations between the two countries can be closer," said Navy official Lt. Col. Teddie Bernard Hernawan in his welcoming speech.
The two vessels are on the way home to Japan. Previously, they participated in an anti-piracy operation in Somalia waters.

"We want to establish closer relations with Indonesian Navy," he continued.
