medcom.id, Jakarta: President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) confirmed his attendance in ASEAN-US Summit that will be held in Sunnyland, California, the United States (US) on February 15-16.
"God willing president will attend," said Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Presidential Complex, Jakarta, Monday (2/1/2016).
Retno mentioned ASEAN-US Summit is considered as important conference for Indonesia. Moreover, ASEAN and the US has established strategic partnership in October 2015.
"We also have plan of action 2016-2020, this is the first year of strategic partner," she added.
Retno said President Jokowi has not planned other agenda in the US outside the summit. "We still discuss it. We will inform the detail program later," she continued.
