medcom.id, Jakarta: The Indonesian Ambassador to Japan Arifin Yusuf has confirmed the Indonesian Embassy in Tokyo is still investigating the disappearance of an Indonesian citizen.
"The Indonesian Embassy in Tokyo is still investigating the case," the Indonesian ambassador to Japan told Metrotvnews.com on Monday.
Yosia Trifosa Siregar reportedly went missing in Tokyo early this month. She supposedly returned home to Jakarta on July 6.
Yosia studies in a Japanese University. She participates in a Japanese language course.
Yosia's relatives have tried to find the young woman. They have tried to gather information through social media.
