All Options Still on Table to Rescue Indonesian Sailors: FM

medcom.id, Jakarta: Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi reported the latest situation regarding 10 Indonesian sailors who are kidnapped by Abu Sayyaf in the Philippines.
 
"I reported to president the latest situation and about my recent visit to Manila. I am sorry I can reveal the detail to public," said Retno at Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, Monday (4/4/2016).
 
"The main point is we cooperate with the Philippine government to rescue the 10 sailors. Once again, we underline that their safety is our top priority and all options are still on the table," she continued.
 
She also reported about three Indonesian sailors who survived from another hijacking by Abu Sayyaf group. The sailors worked in a Malaysian ship.
 
"They are fine. They have been examined by Malaysian authority," she added.
 
During the incident, the hijackers only kidnapped Malaysian crew. The hijackin occured in Ligitan waters near the border of Malaysia and the Philippines.
