Metrotrvnews.com, Jakarta: Indonesian President Joko Widodo and Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena have agreed three memorandums of understanding.
"Memorandum of understanding on marine affairs and fisheries, memorandum of understanding on illegal fishing and memorandum of understanding on traditional industry," the Indonesian president said.
The two leaders held a bilateral meeting at the Freedom Palace in the Indonesian capital on Wednesday, March 8, 2017.
They pledged stronger economic cooperation. They also declared closer political cooperation.
"Indonesia and Sri Lanka are close friends," he stated.
