Dead Victims of Boat Accident in Malaysia Rise to 22

medcom.id, Kuala Lumpur: The Malaysian authority has again found four dead victims of a capsized ship in Johor, Malaysia, on Wednesday (1/27/2016). Previously in the morning, five bodies were also found.
 
Based on the press release from Indonesian Consulate General in Johor Baru, which was received by Metrotvnews.com on Wednesday, the nine victims were directly evacuated and brought to Kota Tinggi hospital to undergo identification. The latest number of the dead victims is now 22 people.
 
The identification process of the 13 Indonesians who became victims in the boat incident is still on going.  Until Wednesday evening, two bodies were identified. The identification was done by the families and Indonesian Citizen Protection Task Force in Johor Baru. One of the bodies that has been identified will be repatriated to Indonesia on Thursday, January 28.
 
Near the dead victims, official found several documents such as Indonesian passports and identity cards, Indonesian and Malaysian Driving Licenses, Malaysian Worker I-Kad and a Boyscout Membership Card. 
 
The authorities in Malaysia continues to search other victims around the location of the incident.
 
Johor one of the entrances for Indonesian Migrant Workers who want to work in Malaysia, both legally and illegally. The capsized reportedly ship brought illegal Indonesian workers. It is very difficult to determine the exact number of victims, as this kind of ship does not have travel manifest.
