Indonesia-South Africa to Strengthen Investment Cooperation

medcom.id, Jakarta: Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi conducted bilateral meeting with her South African counterpart Maite Nkoana-Mashabane on the sidelines of the 12th World Islamic Economic Forum (WIEF) in Jakarta.
 
The two ministers discussed a wide range of issues including bilateral economic relatoins between the two relations.
 
"Investment cooperation especially in infrastructure sector, energy sector, strategic industry and manufacturing industry," said Retno in a press release received by Metrotvnews.com, Tuesday (8/2).

Indonesia and South Africa have established strategic partnership since 2008. South Africa is the only Indonesia's strategic partner in Africa.
 
The two countries also have good cooperation in the Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA). Indonesia currently assumes chairmanship in the regional organization.
