Indonesian Consulate General Closely Monitors Hurricane Matthew

medcom.id, Houston: Hurricane Matthew is projected to make landfall in Florida and Georgia on Friday (10/7).
 
The Indonesian Consulate General in Houston is closely monitoring Indonesian citizens in the two states.
 
"We are always in contact with Indonesian citizens in Florida and Georgia," Indonesian Consul General in Houston Henk Edward Saroinsong told Metrotvnews.com on Friday (10/7).

Henk mentioned there are 2,480 Indonesian citizens in Florida and 2,983 in Georgia.
 
Hurricane Matthew lashed Haiti earlier this week. It killed at least 339 people in the Carribean country.
