medcom.id, Jakarta: The Indonesian General Election Commission (KPU) will host the Asian Electoral Stakeholder Forum (AESF) III in Bali on August 22-26.
"We will share experience and information related to the democratic progress in each respective country," said KPU chairman Juri Ardiantoro, here, Thursday (8/18/2016).
The forum will be attended by 36 Asian countries. President Joko Widodo is scheduled to open the event.
Juri mentioned that KPU is considered as role model in the region. KPU is praised for its transparancy and accountability.
"It is the strength of democracy in Indonesia," he concluded.
