Jokowi Announces Honorary Consul in Ramallah

medcom.id, Jakarta: President Joko Widodo announced Honorary Consul of Indonesia in Ramallah, Palestine when he gave speech in Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) extraordinary summit on Palestine and Al-Quds Al-Sharif.
 
"Let me announce that Indonesia has appointed Maha Abou Shusheh as Honorary Consul of Indonesia for Palestine," said President Jokowi, Jakarta, Monday (3/7/2016).
 
"In the near future, we will inaugurate Honorary Consulate of Indonesia in Ramallah, Palestine," he added.
 
Jokowi reminded the summit is great momentum to respond the issue of Palestine with concrete measures. "The patience of international community to Israel's illegal settlement in Palestine's territory has reached its limit," he affirmed.
 
He underlined Indonesia will continue support the Palestinians. "Indonesia and Islamic world are ready to implement concrete measures to pressure Israel to stop its atrocities," he continued.
 
Jokowi stated action from the United Nations is needed to fasten the peace process through the implementation of two-state solution.
