medcom.id, Jakarta: The Indonesian government has committed to repatriate Indonesian overstayers in South Korea.
"There are 5,500 overstayers now," Indonesian Embassy counsellor Aji Surya said in Jakarta on Tuesday.
"There were around 7,000 overstayers last year," Aji continued.
Overstayers do not have legal status. They also do not enjoy insurance coverage.
"We will reduce the number gradually," Aji stated.
