Indonesian Muslim Delegation Meets With Israeli President

medcom.id, Jakarta: An Indonesian Muslim delegation met with Israeli President Reuven Rivlin in Jerusalem on Wednesday, January 18, 2016.
 
"Throughout the years, we all lived in Jerusalem together in harmony, Muslims, Christians, and Jews," Rivlin said.
 
"We are not doomed to live together, we are destined to live together," Rivlin continued.

Rivlin urged greater cooperation between the Israel and Indonesia. He also encouraged greater interaction between Israeli and Indonesian peoples.
 
"Indonesia consists of more than 17,000 islands, and flying from one side to the other can take ten hours," Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) Women, Children and Families Commission head Istibsyaroh stated.
 
"Although there are many different religions and cultures, they are all one as Indonesian citizens," Istibsyaroh added.
