Death Toll for Johor Boat Accident Reaches 16

medcom.id, Jakarta: Malaysian authorities have found 16 bodies after a boat accident in Johor Malaysia on Monday, January 23, 2017.
 
Around 40 passengers were onboard. Most passengers were Indonesian citizens.
 
"16 bodies have been found," Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi said.

"Nine males and seven females," she continued.
 
The Indonesian National Police have sent forensic experts. They will help the identification process.
