China-Indonesia Committed to Increase Investments

medcom.id, Jakarta: Chinese government pledged its commitment to Indonesia in increasing the investment in the real sector, aside from portfolio investments. The commitment became positive as it presents positive impact to the growth of Indonesian economy in future times.
 
The commitment, as mentioned by Chinese President Xi Jinping to Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) in a meeting at the G20 Summit in Antalya, Turkey. The commitment also shows China's support in supporting Indonesia's economy.
 
"China stated its support in supporting Indonesia's economic growth," mentioned the Minister of Finance Bambang Brodjonegoro when conducting a teleconference at the Ministry of Finance Office, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (11/17/2015).
 
Aside from that, Bambang continued, another meeting result between the Indonesian government with China is the agreement between both nations to strengthen investment in infrastructure and manufacture.
 
The agreement is conducted as Indonesia is putting forward the infrastructure and manufacture sector in boosting the economic growth. Not only that, the priority of the infrastructure and manufacture sectors development was also meant for Indonesia to strengthen its competitiveness in the international field.
 
"On the contrary, China prioritizes the infrastructure and manufacture sectors," he concluded.
