medcom.id, Jakarta: Indonesian Ambassador for Malaysia Herman Prayitno mentioned 13 Indonesians were reportedly found dead in Malaysian shore.
Ambassador Herman corrected earlier report which stated there were 12 dead bodies.
"Information from local police in Johor, 13 dead bodies were found at 7 AM, nine women and four men, suspected as Indonesian citizens," he said by phone to Metrotvnews.com, Thursday (1/26/2016).
"Those 13 person were victims of boat accident," he continued.
He explained the capsized boat is suspected came from Indonesia to Malaysia illegally.
"Indonesian Consulate General in Johor Bahru has sent two citizen protection task force staff to examine evacuation process," he mentioned.
"For identification process it is still on going," he added.
