medcom.id, Jakarta: Admiral Dato Seri Panglima Ahmad Kamarulzaman, Commander of the Malaysian Navy conducted official visit to Indonesia from February 21 to 23.
During the visit, he had meeting with Indonesian Navy Chief of Staff (KASAL) Ade Supandi at Indonesian Military Headquarters.
The visit was conducted following the change of leadershi within the Malaysian Navy last November.
Based on the release received by Metrotvnews.com, Monday (2/22/2016), the main goal of the visit is to strengthen the military relationship between both nations, especially on the maritime sector.
Various initiatives and cooperation were discussed during the meeting, including joint navy training between Malaysian and Indonesian Navy. The meeting was also used to exchange views and ideas.
