Siti Aisyah's Trial Transferred to High Court

medcom.id, Jakarta: Indonesian national Siti Aisyah and Vietnamese national Doan Thi Huong attended the Magistrates Court in Sepang, Malaysia on Tuesday.
 
The two women were charged with the murder of the North Korean leader's estranged half-brother Kim Jong-Nam at Kuala Lumpur International Airport on February 13.
 
"Siti was accompanied by seven lawyers," Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi told media this morning.
The murder trial has been moved to the High Court in Shah Alam, Malaysia at a later date. "Most likely after Ramadan," Retno said.
 
The murder trial has been delayed twice due to the prosecution's request for evidence and document compilation. "Prosecutors must submit files to lawyers no later than two weeks before the first hearing at the High Court," Retno said.
