medcom.id, Vientiane: President Joko Widodo and other ASEAN leaders conducted an interface with the Representatives of ASEAN Youth 2016 in Vientiane, Laos on Tuesday, September 6, 2016.
"We want to listen to you," Jokowi said as quoted by the Cabinet Secretary's official website.
"You understand technology. We want you to help tranform our economy and our people," he continued.
Jokowi believes ASEAN has bright economic future. The regional bloc is blessed with demographic dividend. However, he admitted that young people in the region have to face many challenges, including the threat of radicalism.
"Tell us how to eradicate radicalism in the internet," he stated.
