Indonesian Military Engineering Contingent Leave DR Congo

medcom.id, Jakarta: The Garuda Kizi TNI XX-M contingent left the Democratic Republic of the Congo on Monday, January 23, 2016.
 
The contingent joined a peacekeeping mission in the country for a year. They constructed infrastuctures in several regions.
 
"We constructed public facilities in Dungu," said the Garuda Kizi TNI XX-M contingent commander Lieutenant Colonel Sriyanto in a press release on Tuesday, January 24, 2016.

"We constructed hangars and helypads in Beni, Bunia and Dungu," he continued.
 
The contingent received a lot of praises. They also bagged several awards.
 
"We received an award as the best military engineering contingent in the Democratic Republic of the Congo," he stated.
