Authorities to Deploy 12000 Officers for IORA Summit

medcom.id, Jakarta: Authorities will deploy around 12 thousand officers for the upcoming Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA) Leaders Summit.
 
"The venue will be closely guarded by military and police officers," the IORA Summit Joint Security Command spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Edys Riyanto said in a statement on Monday.
 
The summit will be held in Jakarta on March 7.

It will be preceded by the Committee of Senior Officials Meeting on March 5 and the Council of Foreign Ministers Meeting on March 6.
 
It will be attended by 21 IORA member countries, seven IORA dialogue partners and eight international organizations.
