medcom.id, Jakarta: ASEAN Secretary General Le Luong Minh led the 50th ASEAN Anniversary event at the ASEAN Secretariat headquarters in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta on Friday, August 11, 2017.
The event was attended by Indonesian President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo. It was also attended by Indonesian diplomats.
"We should cooperate to tackle common challenges. ASEAN should unite to reach common goals," Le said.
"We should boost the ASEAN community. We should maintain stability and peace.
Malaysian Foreign Minister Anifah Aman joined the ceremony. ASEAN ambassadors also joined the ceremony.
