medcom.id, Jakarta: Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi and Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Ahmed el-Tayyeb have agreed interfaith dialogue cooperation.
Retno met with the Egyptian cleric on Sunday. She discussed about several issues.
"Indonesia and Al-Azhar will cooperate to hold interfaith dialogues to spread peaceful values," Retno said in a press release on Monday.
"Indonesia has commitment to support constructive measures to maintain peace, harmony, stability and prosperity," Retno mentioned .
Retno visited Egypt on February 5. She will visit South Africa on February 6-7. She then will visit Mozambique on February 8.
