Jokowi Travels to KL This Evening to Attend ASEAN Summit

medcom.id, Jakarta: President Joko Widodo is scheduled to go to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia this evening (11/20/2015). He plans to attend Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit.

According to the schedule, Jokowi will take off with presidential plane at 17.00 Western Indonesia Time from Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, East Jakarta. He is scheduled to arrive in Kuala Lumpur at 20.00 local time.

The 27th ASEAN Summit will be held in 21-22 November 2015. This is very important forum considering ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) will be launched in 31 December 2015.

The forum will discuss cooperation between countries. It will also commemorate ten years of East ASia Summit that was first held in 2005.

In the occasion, Jokowi and other leaders will also discuss about several issues including peace, maritime security, haze, illegal immigrants and South China Sea dispute.
