Jakarta: Four start-ups from Indonesia, namely Botika, Khaira Energy, Gradana, and Svara Innovation Indonesia, are now exploring the Swiss market to develop businesses and build networks while looking for potential investors in Switzerland.

The four start-ups successfully passed the Asia Entrepreneurship Training Program (AETP) selection which was pioneered by Zürich Hochschulen für Angewandte Wissenschaften (ZHAW) or Zurich University of Applied Science, in Zürich, Switzerland.

AETP is a start-up exchange program between Indonesia and Switzerland that allows start-ups from Indonesia to receive technical training from the program organizers, as well as the opportunity to present the start-up business model to companies and potential investors.

Indonesian Ambassador in Bern, Muliaman D. Hadad, attended the opening of the program on Tuesday, December 2, 2019. He greatly appreciated the efforts of the Indonesian cooperation with Switzerland, and hoped that such cooperation could improve Indonesia's ability to build a national start-up development ecosystem.

"Please make this opportunity in Switzerland as good as possible to build networking and add experience", he said in a press release issued on Thursday, December 4, 2019.

The leaders of the four startup companies are Ditto Anindito (Botika), Yulian Widodo (Khaira Energy), Angela Oetama (Gradana), and M. Zhuhriansyah (Svara Innovation Indonesia). They will conclude their exploration in Switzerland on Friday, December 6, 2019.
