Sri Mulyani Says Gov't Can Bring Google to Tax Court

medcom.id, Jakarta: Finance Minister Sri Mulyani said her ministry has decided to probe Google for alleged tax evasion
 
"We will follow up. Taxation Directorate General will enforce regulations," Sri Mulyani said here on Friday (9/16/2016).
 
"Google of course has its own reasons. We have place to dicuss the issue. We can agree or disagree. We still have tax court," she continued.

Previously, Google refused to establish a permanent establishment (BUT) in Indonesia. The tech company also rejected tax examination by Indonesian tax officials.
 
"The company returned the tax audit instruction letter," Jakarta Special Tax Office head Muhammad Haniv said on Thursday (9/15).
