medcom.id, Jakarta: American giant e-commerce company, Ebay, plans to open office in Indonesia. The company currently is looking for a Head of Cross Border Trade for the country.
The Head of Cross Border Trade will manage and develop business in Indonesia. The position will also act as representative or spokesperson for company.
Ebay is an e-commerce company from the US, established in 1995. Currently, the company has branches in more than 30 countries.
The site implements consumer to consumer (C2C) and business to consumer (B2C) trade. It can be accessed freely by buyers. However, the seller should pay to put their products in eBay.
The eBay itself has entered Indonesia with Blanja.com. E-commerce site established in cooperation with Indonesian telecommunication company, Telkom.
