Jokowi Urges Facebook to Spread Peace and tolerance

medcom.id, Jakarta: President Joko Widodo visited Facebook headquarters in Silicon Valley, San Francisco on Wednesday (2/17). During the meeting with Facebook CEO Mark Zurkerberg, Jokowi urged Facebook to spread peace and tolerance in social media.
 
"I urge Facebook to spread tolerance, moderation and peace," he said to Zurkerberg as quoted by release received by Metrotvnews.com, Thursday (2/18/2016).
 
The proposal was also mentioned by Jokowi during ASEAN-US Summit. He argued many radical groups use social media to spread their agenda.
 
During the visit, Jokowi met with Indonesians who work in the company. He also watched oculus virtual reality demonstration. 
 
Besides Facebook, Jokowi also visited Google and Twitter.
