medcom.id: Through its official Facebook page, Spotify announced they will enter Indonesia on March 30.
"Guess who is coming to Indonesia?" wrote Spotify. The announcement was welcomed by the netizens.
Based on the rumours, Spotify is to partner with Indosat Ooredoo. When Metrotvnews.com confirmed the idea to the CEO of Indosat Ooredoo, Alexander Rusli, he mentioned that currently Indosat Ooredoo is undergoing discussions with Spotify.
"Still under discussions," he answered when asked whether Indosat Ooredoo is to partner with Spotify.
Actually, the news on Spotify's plan to enter Indonesia had emerged by the end of 2014. At the time, it was reported that Spotify is to join hands with Telkomsel as a partner, and will enter Indonesia on the first quarter of 2015.
However, as it was also informed, the partnership failed to be realized. Currently, Spotify again announced they will enter Indonesia.
