medcom.id, Jakarta: National Online Shopping day (Harbolnas) was announced on Tuesday (12/8/2015), at Ritz Carlton Mega Kuningan. The event will commence from December 10 to 12, 2015. In the previous year, Harbolnas was only conducted for a day.
"Indonesia has an extraordinary potential to become a nation with the largest e-commerce in South East Asia. It is where the National Online Shopping day takes place to gather all parties in assisting each other to develop the industry in Indonesia," mentioned Indra Yonathan, the SVP for Strategic Marketing Partnership of Lazada Indonesia, as the Chairman of Harbolnas 2015.
This year, Harbolnas is supported by technology and banking companies in Indonesia, among others Telkomsel, Mandiri, BCA, Baidu, Sodexo, Shopback, Doku and Veritrans. Indra Yonathan, or known as Yonathan, mentioned that at least 140 local and global e-commerce have joined in this year's event.
During the three days of the event, the 140 companies taking part in this celebration are mentioned to offer interesting programs, one of them being a 90 percent discount. Yonathan expected that the total discount this year will reach up to Rp120 billion.
The consumers interested in taking part of this year's event, mentioned Yonathan, may seek more information through a Harbolnas website provided by the committee.
